What is the Ride For Dad?
The Ride For Dad is a group of events that raises money for prostate cancer research and awareness through a one day events and fundraising events throughout the year.
Ride Events take place in 30 major cities representing every Canadian province. Each city has a volunteer committee, support from local first responders, media partners, and community leaders.
Ride For Dad events have been taking place in Canada for over 10 years. Today, more than 250,000 men, women and children have been involved, raising more than $9 million towards the fight against prostate cancer.
Why should you get involved?
- Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Canadian men.
- One in seven Canadian men will develop prostate cancer during his lifetime.
- It is estimated that over 24,000 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed in Canada this year and 4,300 men will die from it.
- It affects everyone - men, their families and friends.

About our riders!
- Riders are 16% more likely to have donated $101 - $200 in the past 12 months when compared to the general adult population.
- Riders lean toward higher incomes ($100k+).
- Demographic of the event is 45 plus (33% 55 - 64, 47% 45 - 54), which includes a highly targeted audience, including participants with higher than average income and is made up of a unique cross section of manager, owners, professionals and entrepreneurs.
